Program Objectives
To develop relevant management and organization knowledge, both academic and professional, in line with the context of Healthcare Administration;
To critical reflection skills and engagement with organizational and professional theory to understand, and where appropriate, challenge existing individual and organizational perspectives and practices;
To develop, and where appropriate apply, new knowledge to add value by enhancing organizational capability and in the context of Healthcare Administration;
To develop an understanding of the organization’s strategic focus and environment and the impact of the inter-relationship between the organization’s resources and clients in a changing environment, particularly focusing on the environmental, social, ethical and financial dimensions of the health care sector;
To develop a commitment to continuous personal and professional development, independence and reflective learning and in the context of Healthcare Administration;
To develop expertise and understanding in the fields of business and management of healthcare, enabling a critical engagement with contemporary discourses that will promote a personal and professional reflection on leading changes in the healthcare sector.
