Personnel employed in Pre-press,Printing and Advertising Industry and Editorial Staff of publishing organizations who wish to enhance knowledge and skills in Graphic Design Applications in order to process digital files for printing and web design.

Course Outline:

• Introduction to Computers(Hardware and Software for Graphics Industry)
• Introduction to Adobe Indesign for Page Make-up
• Creating and Designing Vector Graphics using Adobe Illustrator
• Color Theory and Color management
• Adobe Photoshop as a Raster Graphic Image manipulation application
• Photoshop and Tools
• Image Composition and Image manipulation
• Color Corrections and Adjustment
• Masking systems in Photoshop
• 2D-3D in Photoshop
• Image Modes and Blending Modes
• Channels and Basic Palettes
• Working with paths and vector Shapes
• Using scanners for printing Technology
• Color Separations and Special Color out putting

Students will have to do six month RPL
