BSc (Hons) in Bio Systems Engineering

The degree program leading to “Bachelor of Science Honours in Biosystems- BSc Hons (Biosystems)” is a four year full time degree program offered by Sri Lanka Technological Campus.

This degree program aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the complex physical, biological and social systems and their interactions involved in the Biosystems and its related areas such as food production, processing and bioprocess technology, environmental technology, and sustainable management of agricultural technologies. It integrates many of the disciplines and professional areas of engineering, science, policy and management which will enable the students completing the degree program to have a better understanding of the various biological systems, issues and research needs for solving problems and improving the outputs and efficiencies from diverse specialties and the application such knowledge for the successful and sustainable management of various biological systems.
