MagaNeguma Construction Equipment Training School

The Kundasale Training School was established in 2012 to train skilled and competent labour to reinforce the construction industry by enabling them to operate the machinery needed to meet the demand of ongoing road construction. It is situated in the mechanical workshop premises of Kundasale and offers the following training programs for school leavers, state and private sector employees. The operator training program consists of two weeks in-house training and there is an accommodation facility available for upto 40 trainees. During this period, practical classes are conducted for trainees by an experienced teaching staff of mechanical engineers. Additionally, students also receive physical training during this period.

After completing necessary course objectives, the trainees are directed to the private sector to obtain more practical training for their skills development.

After a satisfactory training period of 12 weeks, they will undergo the National Vocational Qualification test (NVQ Level 3) conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Development.
