ABOUT CINEC

CINEC Campus established in 1990 and located in the picturesque suburbs of Colombo, Malabe is one of the largest, most diversified and fastest growing non state higher education institutes in Sri, Lanka. It caters to over 21,000 registered students annually in approximately 210 different Certificate, Diploma, Higher Diploma, Graduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral programs approved by the Government of Sri Lanka and Universities in Australia, China, Germany, UK, USA and TAFE College in Australia. CINEC has branches in the Northern and Eastern capitals of Sri Lanka and also in a Colombo suburb. CINEC has the rare honor of managing State Maritime Institutes in Seychelles and Fiji with a mandate to upgrade them to international standards and recognition.

Faculties of Maritime Science, Marine Engineering, Engineering and Technology, Management and Social Sciences, Humanities and Education and Health Science form the core academic structure under a highly qualified and experienced academic staff emphasizing on hands-on-training and research opportunities to support the local and international industry requirements, and currently maintaining 100% employability.

Two of the largest apparel and one leading electrical manufacturing companies in Sri Lanka ,MAS Holdings, Brandix and Orange Electrical-Orel Corporation respectively have established their research and training centers at CINEC Campus premises providing students a rare opportunity.

The courses are taught by lecturers who are well qualified with postgraduate qualifications and with many years of academic and industrial experience. The students are exposed to a sound theoretical base coupled with numerous practical sessions fully supported by our experienced academic staff. All practical sessions are conducted in our well-equipped laboratories. Facilities are also provided for final year student projects to be carried out in research organizations under expert supervision, whilst they complete their industrial training in reputed organizations.

CINEC Campus also imparts soft skills for character building, personality development and discipline to cultivate competence of students to be work ready in a competitive environment.

CINEC Campus has over the years since its inception positioned itself as an institution grooming the next generation to be competent in the international arena with globally recognized qualifications offering opportunities to excel in their diversified skills and abilities.

CINEC Campus is presently formed with a partnership of two leading Companies in Sri Lanka namely Ceyline Group & Aitken Spence Plc and two ship owning companies Komrowski and Zeaborn in Germany.
